For those of you who want a ten or so minute break, I think that this might interest you. It’s a good mental break. If you get bored, skip it, but I think you might love it. If you don’t wanna spend ten minutes, or get bored in the middle, FF to 7:50. You’ll be inspired. At least I hope you will. http://www.hulu.com/embed/ka1YQkX-h1628RfGZwlAdQ
Now, you try that. Get your robot on. C’mon. Nobody’s watching!

I think it’s getting late and we might get a lot of winners announced tomorrow. But for now, we’re going to announce another Cheerleader winner, Valerie!
BOO! Did I scare you? Ah, I’m gonna have to get trixier if I wanna do that, right?
Halloween’s just around the corner. See if you can help me brainstorm some great books that would be terrifying to read on Halloween! I’ll select a random commenter on this post for a prize. I’m primarily a YA blogger, so I’m going to stick to what I know and suggest Nevermore by Kelly Creagh and The Devouring by Simon Holt, which starts out like this:
When dark creeps in and eats the light,
Bury your fears on sorry night,
For in the winter’s darkest hours,
Comes the feasting of the vours,
No one can see it the life they stole,
Your body’s here but not your soul.
(Don’t worry, sorry night isn’t tonight so you’re good to be spooked… tonight anyway)
Keep up the great work y’all. You CAN make it all 24 hours, I know you can!!!!
Commenters of the Hour from YA Enthusiast: Mrs DeRaps, from The Book Lair: Letter4no1. Email us with the prize you’d like and your mailing address!

Mini-Challenges
Ban This Book! Midnight Book Girl shows us how if you are creative enough you can get any book banned.
Hey guys! Are you feeling the burn? ARE YOU? Your eyes from not blinking? Your throat from reading aloud? Your ears from listening?
You can totally make it to Hour 24. I believe in you guys. Something that helps me focus and get a little energy back when I start to get tired is a fun non-lyrical music mix. I use a lot of these for my workouts and honestly when I’m writing for my class or trying to read someone’s story for class. Click here to listen to my favorite i’m-so-tired-but-i-have-to-stay-awake-and-focused Pandora station. You might be surprised!
Head over to The Brain Lair and YA Enthusiast this hour to cheer them on and leave a comment to be entered to win a prize!
(And hint: You may want to update your status posts… I’ll be on the prowl for a random reader still reading soon!)

Birgit is the winner of my Microfiction Mini Challenge! Here’s her winning Microfiction:
The teenage girl had watched the man for several weeks now. He had seemed a strange man, but all he really did was sit on a bench for a couple of hours every day. Today she decided that she’d approach him and ask the one question that was bothering her.
“Um, sir, who are you?”
The man looked at her with a straight face and said, “I’m a vampire.”
There was silence.
“Then if you’re a vampire, then why aren’t you sparkling in the sunlight?”
“Read Dracula, kid. Dracula walked in the sun and didn’t sparkle.”
Birgit – email me, ’cause you didn’t leave your email addy! We’ll get you hooked up with your prize.
Hey guys, Shesten here, taking over! How are all of you this evening?
So, what’s tempting you right now? I know it’s not sleep! I know it’s NOT! I got this lovely mini bundt cake from the bridal shower I went to this afternoon (I know, I totally cheated and took a longer than normal break) and I’m so totally tempted to eat it!

I had to stop watching Gilmore Girls because I was OBSESSED (and my favorite character left!), but I love this one scene where Rory and Lorelei are arguing over how many books she should take to school, and I stumbled on this:
Now I must watch more Gilmore Girls! You should be grateful Shesten’s going to be taking over, otherwise I’d find clips and make you watch them with me all night! Mwahahaha!!

Speaking of organization, is there a way you keep organized through all of the reading? Do you write a few thoughts down or the entire review before moving on to your next read?
