Hey there readathon warriors! Naomi (@bookladyreads) here, and I’m back for hour 8. Man, we are killing it, aren’t we? Eight hours is a long time to be reading fairly consistently. You may find yourself getting a little sleepy and need a little pick me up.
This is the perfect time to take a break to get a snack and a drink. I love eating snacks and drinking coffee (hot or cold) while reading. Cashews and almonds are my daily go-to reading snack, but I also love a good bag of kettle-cooked chips, and if I’m feeling super naughty…… OREO DOUBLE STUFFED COOKIES!!!!! These cookies are like a gift to the universe. My drink of choice is coffee. Either coffee I brew myself at home or Starbucks. I don’t know about you, but my current drink addiction is that Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew.

I am reaching for the chips and a diet coke
Irish breakfast tea is my drink of choice. It has caffeine AND it’s comforting. I’m lamenting the fact that I’m out of maple cookies, though! I love having those with a nice cup of tea.
I have some healthy fruits and veggies along with a couple of chocolates lined up for snacks. But it is noon here on the west coast, so I think I’ll be making myself some lunch right now…
Totally starting my second round of caffeine…eyes are a little tired from the 5am start!
I am taking a break now to eat a chocolate mini-cake, and I’ll eat an apple or pear after 6 more hours. ^^ I dranked a coffee earlier and helped me a little.
Diet Coke & water. Later I will drink some low sugar Gatorade. No snacks yet today. Just breakfast and lunch.
I already had dinner… twice xD salad and then Burger King (what was a shame, since I was really craving McDonalds). A lot of tea, some peanuts and bananas. But I am saving the best for last… which is cheese and then marzipan covered in chocolate!
