August 2019, Reverse Readathon

Reverse Readathon Hour 22

Hey there, reader friend! This is Andi, and this #ReverseReadathon is almost DONE! If you’ve been awake this whole time, I bet you are zonked. In truth, I’m just finishing up bowling with my son’s Cub Scout pack, but by the magic of the Internet I’m here with you, too.

I guarantee I’m trying my best to listen to something bookish while I’m out, and since I can’t always get into audiobooks, sometimes podcasts are my go-to! What are you favorite bookish podcasts?

The Readathon is a long-standing tradition now–over 10 years old–and we’re always keen to cook up some new ideas. What would you love to see added to the readathon or tweaked? We’re all ears, and our next event is on October 26, 2019.

  1. The Reading Women podcast!

Please continue the summer reverse readathon and keep it casual as is.

Requests for readathon in general: post “most popular books” after readathon is over. Post hourly (or general) themes earlier, to optimize TBRS (and library holds).

    And more cats.

  2. My absolute favorite is the Teen Creeps podcast! They read a lot of YA horror/pulp like RL Stine, Christopher Pike, VC Andrews, Grady Hendrix, Dia Reeves, Lois Duncan! I’m a Patreon supporter because it’s such a labor of love.
