  1. 1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
Ontario, Canada, where winter’s chill won’t let go. At least big blankets make for nice reading.
    2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
I only have one book on the go and I don’t expect to finish it today so that’s all, but it’s Blue Lily Lily Blue by Maggie Stiefvater, third in The Raven Cycle series!
    3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
    WHY DIDN’T I PLAN SNACKS?
    4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
I’m an aspiring author myself, and a lover of frogs.
    5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?
This is my first go! I’m looking forward to guilt-free reading!

    2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?

I don’t even remember what books I packed.

    3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?

    Leftover Easter candy.

    4) Tell us a little something about yourself!

So far today (it’s 9:45 Eastern) I have read Hellenismos Today by Timothy Jay Alexander and Hestia — Goddess of the Hearth by Janet Bubar Rich. Go on, guess my religion.

    5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?

You know, I have no clue if I participated in the last readathon? But this is not my first one, so I’ma say “actually stay up all night”. (I got a late start today, though, so…)

    2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? How to be Happy by Eleanor Davis

    3) Which snack are you most looking forward to? Movie Theater Popcorn (Yum!)

    4) Tell us a little something about yourself! I have loved to read for a long as I can remember and I have recently turned that love into a Booktube channel. I’m surprised I didn’t start sooner because it’s so much fun. Another random fact is that I’m a volunteer tour guide at a Postal Museum so now I know entirely too much about Postal History.

    5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to? My first readathon was last year and this year, I want to be a little more balanced with what I spend my time on. Last year, I may have spent more time tweeting than reading (the readathon community on twitter is so cool, I couldn’t help myself.) I also wasted a lot of time getting food ready and waiting for food to be prepared. This year, I’m going to have snacks prepared and I will (try to) limit my time on social media so I’m experiencing a little bit of everything

    5. I’m going to take a nap when I get too tired to read, so that I’m able to enjoy my books more once I’m refreshed. 🙂

    1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. It is currently overcast and might rain today. PERFECT DAY FOR HOLING UP AND READING.

    2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
I have a trifecta of “The Tale of Genji”, “The World of the Shining Prince”, and “Diary of Lady Murasaki” that I’m gunning for. I’ll be swapping around between all three of these. Genji is 1300 pages long and chock full of description, so between these three I’ll be busy all day.

    3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
Dollar General takes Paypal and has generic girl scout cookies! I also have a boatload of various herbal teas, so I’ll be chugging those too.

    4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
I’m a now-disabled pharmacy technician with a deep love of all things medical, and also a love for Japanese history, specifically the Heian period (which was about 1000 years ago!). I’m a full-time caregiver for my darling husband, have three beautiful cats that I love like children, and I also volunteer for Street Cat H.U.B doing post-surgical recovery care for stray and feral cats who have just been fixed.

    5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?

This is my first one, so I’m looking forward to knocking out some of the books that I’ve been trying to read for months or literally years (in Genji’s case).

Enjoying a beer on a patio with a book in my hand. Not exactly a “snack” but I’m really looking forward to it.

    4) Tell us a little something about yourself!

Accountant by day, reader by night/weekend

    5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?

This is my first, I’m looking forward to a full 24 hours devoted solely to reading and also connecting with the thriving community of readers on the Internet.

    Yay! Happy Reading!

    1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today? St. Louis, MICHIGAN (NOT Missouri LOL)

    2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? I will be starting with “Allegiant” by Veronica Roth – I’ve read the first 2 and now that the movie is on Netflix I have to read the book so I don’t have any (more) spoilers!

    3) Which snack are you most looking forward to? Whatever I pick up later at the store! Stacey’s Cocoa Pita Chips are pretty awesome though!

    4) Tell us a little something about yourself! I am a book junkie – always drawn to the books at garage sales and thrift stores. I think it stems from a fear of wanting to read a book and never finding that book again, so I have to buy it. I currently have enough books to read one a week for about 150 years…. I have two beautiful daughters, an adorable granddaughter, and 4 1/2 years of sobriety. Life is GOOD!!

    5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to? As I said in my blog post, this is my first Readathon, and I am looking forward to the chance to read uninterrupted (mostly) and get some books off my “to read” list!

    3. I didn’t prepare snacks! I guess I’ll just be wandering downstairs and picking off whatever bag of chips is left in our pantry, haha.
    4. I am trying to write a humorous story about teenage serial killers.
    5. It’s my first readathon and I’m just generally excited for all the reading?? I’m so behind on my mission to halve my TBR pile this year, and I really hope to finish at least one book. I don’t want to pressure myself though, so I think I also just want to enjoy being part of the community and seeing a thousand readers just do their own thing. 🙂
