This is Kate from Kate’s Book Nook and I will be your cohost for the rest of the readathon! You all are doing so great. It was fun talking to some fellow soccer fans and cheese addicts in the comments section! You guys rock!

I want to take a moment and thank the organizers of this event; Andi and Heather. You guys have been awesome. Thanks for continuing this read-a-thon tradition and always being available for questions and pep talks and anything and everything else we need! You both rock my socks off!

Video of the Hour:

In the last post, I introduced you guys to Emma Approves. Now, from the creators of Emma Approves (and The Lizzie Bennett Diaries) I give you 31 Jokes for Nerds. It is time to laugh a little!

Random Fact of the Hour:

  •  Ernest Vincent is an author who wrote a novel called Gadsby in 1939. The novel is 50,000 words long. The interest part is the fact that there is not a single “e” in the entire novel.
  • Frank Baum named “Oz” after a file cabinet in his office. One cabinet was labeled “A to N,” and the second was labeled “O to Z.”
