Well, you’ve made it through an hour! How does that feel?
I’m curious as to what you’re reading, so if you’ve got the time, leave a comment and let me know.
In the meantime, I have a video for you… pretend that the sleepies you might be still wiping out of your eyes are the ghosts (I saw this at Video Games Live the other night and laughed soooo hard!)
Mini-Challenges
Introduction Meme is still going.
Where In The World Are You Reading?: This challenge asks you to pin on the map the place you’re reading, so that we can see a spread of where everyone is! Have fun! One winner will be chosen to pick a prize from the prize list. It will be open through the end of Hour Four.
Winners Announced
No Mini-Challenge winners announced yet, but guess what? We’ve got two random commenters from Hour 1 that can pick a prize! Samantha Jo and Jencey Gortney, pick a prize from the prize list and email your choice to 1330vblog at gmail. Congrats on being the first prize winners of the day and thanks for joining us bright and early!
YAY to the winners! I am reading Hate List.

I’ve just finished my first book, “Daddy Long-Legs” by Jean Webster. It was quite sweet and old-fashioned, a nice way to start the day. Now, off to pick something a little more modern, I think!

It’s On the Road for me. I was intending to read this years ago–I was actually going to take my senior seminar on Jack Kerouac, when I was a lit major at uni. But then I found out that I would have to teach the class for a week, so I dropped it and took one on V.S. Naipaul instead (public speaking and I do not get along in any way).
Loving the book so far. What a crazy life he lived. Wish I could’ve been there. I always get such a vicarious thrill from books like these.
